Geometry and identity
Well Intelligence Platform reference: geometry and identity.
Public preview geometry
Preview geometry belongs to qualified public records. Published paths, measured surveys, and inferred geometry have different meanings; an inferred path is not a measured trajectory. A line is shown only when its source and identity are qualified for the preview. Map payloads expose coordinates, so concealing numbers in a panel does not make a precise position private.
Authorized source geometry
Surface points, permitted paths, and measured surveys have different meanings. Source datum, coordinate transformation, identity linkage, release permission, and account entitlement must be verified before real precise geometry is served. Do not portray an inferred path as measured.
The earlier BOEM Green Canyon snapshot used surface points only. A source borehole record or sidetrack identity is not automatically a distinct physical well. Supplied Blackhill/Enverus geometry and private customer records remain excluded regardless of commercial access.
