Produced water, disposal and transfer volumes carry the same accounting weight as oil and gas, and usually a fraction of the instrumentation. The platform measures them the same way it measures everything else.

Water is measured, not corrected
Water volume is the strapped volume, and production over an interval is the volume change plus what left on a truck. There is no thermal or gravity correction, and the platform does not imply one.

The same provenance rules
Nothing about a water measurement is held to a lower standard than a production measurement.
- Source, units, observation time and quality state on every value.
- Missing is missing; it is never rendered as zero.
- Corrections retain the original and flag anything they restate.
Why this is not a smaller version of the production story
Water is often treated as the thing you measure after you have finished measuring what you sell. The volumes are large, the handling costs are real, and the reporting obligations are not optional — but the instrumentation budget went elsewhere, so the measurement quality is usually a step behind.
That mismatch is exactly the case gauge capture was built for. A water tank with no transmitter, gauged daily by the same pumper who gauges the oil tanks, using the same phone and the same strapping tables, produces a volume with the same provenance as everything else in the system.
Common questions
Does water get a volume correction factor?
No. Temperature and gravity correction applies to oil and condensate. Water is volume change plus hauled volume. Any interface that implied otherwise would be wrong, and an operator would notice immediately.
Can we track disposal separately from produced volumes?
Yes. Hauled volumes are recorded with their destination where you capture full ticket detail, so disposal is attributable rather than a single aggregated number.
