Start with synthetic data
The trial opens with a fully populated synthetic field, so you can see how the platform behaves before wiring anything up.
- Every identifier and volume in the sample field is synthetic and clearly labelled as such.
- Sample data can never be mistaken for a real source — the platform labels it and refuses to substitute it when a real connection fails.
Try the field experience on a phone
Open the trial on your phone and add it to the home screen. This is the part worth testing first, because it is the part your crew has to adopt.
- Record a gauge in innage or outage and watch the strapping table do the conversion.
- Turn off cellular data and record another one, then watch it sync.
- Enter a hauled load and see it carried into the next production figure.
Connect something real when you want to
When you are ready to see your own numbers, the connection to your production accounting system is read-only.
- A least-privilege, SELECT-only connection to approved fields.
- The platform never writes to your system of record.
- You can load your own strapping tables and gauge a real tank.
What to look at first
If you have twenty minutes, the two things worth testing are the ones that are hard to fake.
Record a gauge with your phone in aeroplane mode. Enter a tank gauge, close the browser, reopen it, and confirm the entry is still queued. Then reconnect and watch it send. This is the behaviour that decides whether a crew will use a field app or go back to paper.
Break something on purpose. Point the platform at a source that is not there, or a field it is not permitted to read. It should return an error that says what failed. It should not show you a populated chart built from estimates. Most monitoring software fails that test, and it is the single best predictor of whether you will trust the numbers in six months.
When you are ready for real numbers
The trial can read your production accounting system over a read-only, least-privilege connection. Nothing is written back. If your security team wants to review that before you connect anything, the security reference in the docs describes exactly what the connection does and what the credential is permitted to do.

What are the trial terms?

Do we need strapping tables before the trial is useful?
No. The synthetic field is fully populated from the start, so you can explore everything without loading anything. When you want to gauge a real tank you will need that tank strapping table, because a strapping table comes from a physical survey of one specific vessel.
Do we have to install anything?
No. The platform runs in the browser, and on a phone it installs to the home screen from there. There is no app store listing and nothing for IT to approve.
Will someone call us if we start a trial?
Only if you ask. The trial exists so you can evaluate the platform without a sales conversation. If you would rather have one, request a demo instead.
